I come here often; close to home and food is consistently good. I sat down at the bar, ordered my usual drink and decided to get a quick app before departing with a bunch of food. Ok, let me describe the fried ravioli. Some would think square dip in marina etc. These were delicious. Amazingly delicious. Crunchy pockets of cheese and spinach filled pastries in a light cheesy Alfredo like sauce. Almost like a Italian-style Japanese dumpling. I housed them, which is why my pic only has one left! Tonight I ordered the pizza, made in a stone oven and Lasagna. I originally gave this place 4 stars, just because 5 to me mean exceptional, but I changed it to 5 because the food here is THAT good. Being the kids-great kids menu or sit at the bar yourself. Whatever your pleasure, just EAT HERE!!

I've been here about a thousand times, even held my wedding rehearsal dinner in their wine room, but have never written a review. I've seen some lackluster responses here which surprise me, so I want to give a different perspective. Frankly, I love this place. There's one waitress (I forget her name or I'd post it) that I try to avoid because she's not the greatest, but other than that I've lost count of how many times their service and servers have impressed me. They're attentive without being intrusive, quick, and eager to please. My mom walks with a cane and the hosts always try to find her the closest spot available to minimize her walking. I appreciate that. My diet has changed over the years so my favorites have changed and now I'm more focused on their healthier entrees. Stopped in for lunch on Wednesday and had the 410-calorie filet mignon off the "lighter" menu and I'm telling you it was delicious. Cooked perfectly rare, as I requested, on a bed of roasted root vegetables. Fresh, hearty and satisfying without the heaviness. Thumbs up. They had a tasty pinot noir as well, and the torrontes wine I sampled from my lunch partner was just fantastic. I'd go back just for a glass of that.

Just had dinner here and really enjoyed it I had the lasagna which very tasty my wife had a shrimp , calamari. And scallop pasta dish which she said was delicious. She got a half partition which was just enough. We also split a salad which was great I would recommend. I also though the cost was reasonable

Gluten-free goodness! My review is limited to Biaggi's gluten-free pizza, as I got it for carry-out. I custom ordered a gluten-free pizza with red & green peppers, mushrooms, and spinach. It was a 10" football-shaped pizza with 6 pieces. The vegetables were fresh & sautéed, and the crust was thin & had a nice, crispy crunch to it like it was fire-roasted in a brick oven. I couldn't even tell by the taste or texture that it was gluten-free. It wasn't bland, chewy, or cardboard-like, such as other gluten-free pizzas I have tried. The portion is enough for 1 person or would be good to share as an appetizer. I would definitely order a pizza again from here when I want a personal-sized, gluten-free pizza as it was one of the best ones I've tried so far. Also, Biaggi's has a whole gluten-free menu with many gemtastic options including gluten-free pasta & complimentary gluten-free bread upon request (both of which I've yet to try) in addition to the few varieties of gemriffic, gluten-free pizzas. Biaggi's gets 5 gems for offering actual gemlicious, gluten-free substitutions & dishes other than just plain meat or hold the toppings or salads sans the croutons & dressings or sandwiches minus the bun.

Really enjoyed our early Mother's Day lunch. Seated immediately, great ( almost perfect) service from Jason and well priced, tasty lunch selections. Great bar area.

We arrived at Biaggi's on a Sunday evening around 5:00 for dinner. We were a party of 5 adults, a teenager and two kids (9 and 7). We were seated immediately and our server Christine (I sure hope that was her name because she was awesome) came over to bring a couple baskets of bread and to take our drink orders. We had salad, dinner and dessert and never felt rushed or hovered over. Our waitress was simply amazing. Our food was pretty amazing too. I always order the same exact thing when I go to Biaggi's (we may be go once a year)... the dish never changes and that is good! (I wish I could remember what it is called... Ziti al Forno, maybe). Our entire party enjoyed their meal. The next day, my son wanted his left over chicken strips for lunch. I took a quick bite before I gave them to him. Oh my goodness! Delish! Probably the best day-old chicken strips I've ever had!

I knew that there were other Biaggi's around, but I didn't know that there was one so close! My friend and I decided to come here for dinner. I've always been a fan of their focaccia bread with olive oil and Parmesan dipping "sauce". We definitely pigged out on some of that. All you can eat...but don't fill up on that or else you won't be hungry later. We ordered the white sangria, which was good, but I don't recommend eating the fruit...that didn't taste good. They also have a lighter menu now, so I ordered the salmon. It was very tasty, just a smaller portion than the other regular dishes you would order. We also had to devour the tiramisu...that was not a mistake. So good! Other than that, the service was good, the atmosphere was a little loud (like always), and the prices are decent for what you get. For a chain, it's not too shabby.

Went here for dinner on a Thursday night and the food and service were both awesome! The bread and oil was delicious. I wasn't feeling too hungry so I did not get to try my staple appetizer- fried calamari. For my meal, I ordered the Farfalle Alfredo... I was on a first date and figured it would be a safe and not too messy dish for a sometimes clumsy girl :). The dish was fantastic. The hearty Alfredo sauce went perfectly with the nicely sized portion of chicken included. The entree was large enough that I had enough leftovers for lunch the next day as well! We also had a couple drinks from the bar... me the martinis since I love trying out new mixtures and him a couple glasses of wine. The service was quick and friendly. I want to go back in the future for the lunch special!

My mother and aunt hosted my baby shower this weekend at Biaggi's, and we were beyond thrilled with the outcome! First off, Manager Chris was amazing- very patient and responsive. He was great at answering questions and making sure everything went smoothly. When I arrived, the private area looked beautiful. They did a great job with the linens and table arrangements. The 2 servers- Virginia and Pedro were beyond courteous, hardworking, and kind. They even remembered many of my guest's names and were very attentive. If there were special requests from guests, they ran everything by my mother first, and they always made sure that we were well taken care of. All of the guests noticed how awesome they were and complimented their hard work!! After the event, they even packed up left overs so we could enjoy them at home and helped us clean up and carry things to the car. The food was delicious, and we are looking forward to another event so that we can host here again!

Let me first say that from the moment Biaggi's opened (maybe 12 years or so ago), I really wanted to fall in love with it. However, after a number of attempts over the years, I have to say we probably won't be back. Let me stress this - we have never had an awful experience. However, there are local places with comparable kind of food that provide a better experience. That said, in Biaggi's favor - they have some delicious cocktails. But, the food had always just been mediocre and if you're going for dinner or lunch - you're going to enjoy the food, right? The service has been hit or miss - we have had some not so great experiences with mixed up orders, wait times, lack of follow-up. Other times, the service has been okay. All in all, if you're going out for an Italian dinner, it just doesn't make sense to go somewhere that is just "okay" if you can go to someplace near by that is very enjoyable. The location is convenient - but, I think we're done "giving it another try" and will stick to other places.

My experience at this restaurant is what triggered me to finally create a Yelp account. The hostess was incredibly rude to us. Instead of walking us to our table, she pointed to it. The waitress gave me an evil-eye and 'tossed' our menus at us. My friends and I experienced such bad vibes from the hostess(es) and the waitress we walked right out and went to Rokbonki. My family has been going to Biaggis since I was a kid and since it opened basically. This was my first time back as an adult. I will never be back. I gave an extra star for the food, but the service is garbage. There is a way better Italian restaurant right across the street... Gianni's. Don't waste your time here.

Overall, I can see why a lot of people would like this place! Good food all around, not too pricey. Portion sizes are totally random, some foods being absurdly small and others being the opposite. I'd suggest asking. Quick refills on drinks, but our waiter was kind of odd/douchebaggy a little. -1 star for the weird water and the food portions being odd.

One "antipasti trio" appetizer + bread was an adequate amount to get our party of 10 started. The calamari on this platter was among the best I think I've ever had. Very tender, not chewy - and that's no small feat. Fabulous stuffed mushrooms, too. Entrees were very good. Portions were sizable but not overwhelming. Some of us left with take home bags, others finished their meal. The butternut squash raviolis got raves. Kids menu had a better-than-average selection, though all my youngest really ever requires is a chicken finger/nugget choice and she's good to go. Service was personable and attentive without being pesty. Only negative to the whole meal was the volume in the dining room. It was loud. Almost too loud to have a reasonable conversation with the person across the table. Good for groups - and there were several of them there: us, a few other First Communions, a 50th birthday. They obviously are well-versed at handling groups. It would have been nice if the dessert menu had a "taste and share" sweets platter counterpart to the antipasti tray we had to start. A nice experience for our special day, overall.

One of the best Italian restaurants I've been to in a long time....Fast, friendly, knowledgeable service, delicious food, reasonably priced. My wife had the cheese ravioli & I got good ol' spaghetti marinara. My one complaint & the one thing that keeps my my review @ 4.95 starts rather than 5 is, the spaghetti could have been drained better. The Lobster-Corn Chowder almost could have been a meal by itself. Finally, my wife (a real expert on creme brulee!) said it was the best creme brulee she's ever had!

We recently went here for my mom's birthday and the experience was (as is usually what happens) a positive one. We've been going to Deer Park for years and Biaggi's for almost as long. The food and waitstaff are great - our waitress was super attentive and was always ready to answer questions or get drink refills. The one disappointing thing with a restaurant as popular as Biaggi's, however, is the wait time. We had a 6:30 reservation and weren't seated until almost 7pm. We weren't really warned about the delay - I only heard about it secondhand. It didn't ruin the experience, but we were quite hungry by the time we sat down. ;-)

Good rigatoni al a bolognese. Enough for a person and a half. Beet salad was decent. Lobster corn chowder sufficiently good - the house special chicken soup was light and surprisingly a better soup.

I've never been disappointed with the food here, always great. But the service can be hit or miss. I love their carry out pronto pack!

My family and I don't usually go to this place a lot but when we do, it's always good. My mom and I decided to go again last night at 6:30. The parking lot was pretty full and we didn't have a reservation, so I thought we would wait awhile, but that wasn't the case. We did sit in a booth at the bar, so we were seated right away, but I did see open tables in their main dining. We usually go during lunch and we always get the all you can eat soup and salad, I think it's like nine bucks (or around that price) but I tried their shrimp and crab cannelloni. SOOO GOOOD. It was slightly expensive 16.99 (or around there) but I mean it had A LOT of shrimp and crab, the whole stuffing was basically seafood. So I think it was worth the price My mom got their beet/goatcheese/walnut(i think) and avocado salad and it was only 8.99 which I think it just a little more expensive than the lunch size and the portion was huge!! No complaints there and besides I think that's their best salad. Many people have said it was noisy in there and I would agree, but I mean it's an open restaurant, you can't really tell people to be quite. Servers were good. I mean nothing special, but I also think our waiter was the bartender as well, so it's understandable that he's running back and forth, so no complaints. The only problem I had with the place was the temperature. I was pretty cold, but the food is so worth it!! Also my mom says their basil lemon drop martini is the best drink on the menu!

My review is not based on the Biaggi's chain menu. This review is based on the amazing creations by their chef, Greg Smith. He's the one who comes up with the daily specials and the foods that are served at the special tasting events. Which, by the way, if you haven't been to one of Biaggi's tasting events, you are REALLY missing out on some amazing food and drink parings. Do yourself a favor and sign up to be on their email list so you know when these events are happening. Greg has such a talent for not only coming up with delicious, unique foods but also paring them with the PERFECT beer, wine or mixed cocktail. I attended their annual Spirit and Craft Beer Tasting, and I was flat out blown away at how perfectly the drinks and food went together. The cocktails were very unique with such fancy ingredients as Poli Grappa, St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur and homemade hibiscus syrup. Anyway, the moral of this review is this: Biaggi's may be a chain restaurant, but don't discredit it for that. This chef has true talent and should probably be working at some fancy-pants Chicago restaurant. Instead, we have him all to ourselves out here in the NW burbs.

Went here on a spur of the moment night out with my husband. Sat in the bar and enjoyed the atmosphere. Server was great - recommended various items, even told us what to stay away from. The chef prepared my food exactly as requested (light on the cheese sauce) and everything tasted great. for a chain restaurant, we enjoyed this place and will return

Had an amazing experience here yesterday. I have been to this location multiple times. Every time it keeps getting better. Prior to yesterday, I went here about a month of so ago. One of the girls we were with is on a gluten free diet. She was overly ecstatic when she saw they had a separate menu with more than enough choices!!! Yesterday, my friend and I decided to grab dinner right after work. Both being starving, we ate bread and ordered our appetizer along with our two entrees. When it seemed the appetizer was taking a little long, our waitress came over and told us they were taking a little longer than expected, but were on the way. The courtesy of her to tell us this was appreciated, instead of just sitting there waiting for forever. No sooner the waitress came over and apologized for the delay, the manager came over. She told us that because we were waiting longer than usual, the appetizer would be complimentary. I was sooo happy about this. I did not even complain. It was a really nice treat!!! All in all I love Biaggis. Their menu is well priced and has a large assortment of things to chose from. I highly recommend the black linguine with lobster and for dessert their bread pudding!!

Biaggi's is a typical Italian restaurant and is very similar to Maggiano's or a Macaroni grill. We had a group of eight with kids and I thought the service was really slower then I'm used to seeing for a table of eight. The food is pretty good, first tried the chicken parm, but thought it was a bit salty so I switched with my wife and had the rigatoni. This was really good. The rigatoni came with peppers, onions, and some sort of creme on top. Not used to the creme, so it was different. The kids meal was pretty nice and plenty of food for a nine year old. I don't think it's worth the 30 minutes drive we took, but if I was in the neighborhood I'd probably stop by.

Excellent, excellent service. Very very good Italian food as well. I've been here three times and all three have had very good service. I also really liked the lemon cake dessert - the lemon and strawberry mix was perfect!

Had my second opportunity to visit Biaggi at Deer Park. The overall quality of the food is above average. The margarita pizza is excellent, very saucy and cheesy. Also the chicken pasta was very good. Service was a bit lacking and "surly". Atmosphere is nice with the right amount of buzz to make it exciting. Definitely will be going back again.

Great Restaurant and great servers. Very busy restaurant, so make you sure you make a reso, but otherwise I am always happy and I love it there. Its not like every place you would go. It has a great atmosphere and a great wine selection. I recommend this place for any occasion.

Biaggi's is a fantastic restaurant...one of my favorites. Myself and my husband found Biaggi's only when we needed to find a place that offered Gluten Free options due to my husband's Celiac Disease. Lucky for us, Biaggi's has a full fledged menu of Gluten Free options, including (but not limited to) Gluten Free pizza and Gluten Free bread. My husband almost jumped out of his side of the booth with giddiness once he realized he could eat bread with olive oil and parm cheese again!! We've both eaten plenty of meals at the restaurant. We love to begin with the Tomato Mozzarella Caprese. My non-gluten free favorites are simply the pasta with its marinara sauce, the personal pizzas, or the Garlic Shrimp Oreganata. My husband loves the Gluten Free pasta with the marinara sauce (the pasta is a spinach based spaghetti) and the Chicken Parmigiana. We've actually never had the dessert here because they have only had fruit or ice cream that was Gluten Free (i.e. boring). But the last time we were there, they had created a new chocolate dome, that was Gluten Free. We are looking forward saving some room next time and then giving the dessert a try. In addition to the great food, the service itself is always great. They are very good at seating parties as close to spot on the reservation time as possible (which you would expect, but it's definitely not a given in my experience). The servers are consistently friendly and helpful. Thanks Biaggi's, for your consistent service and consideration of people with dietary restrictions! I highly recommend your restaurant to everyone.

i live right behind this restaurant but never bothered to drop in... not a huge fan of pasta in general. my parents were in town though and craving italian, so we decided to give it a go. we walked in to a very tastefully decorated but mostly empty restaurant - 1 PM on a monday afternoon. i hate dining in nearly empty establishments. not a good start, but. AWESOME EXPERIENCE! the waiter was cute, knowledgable, funny, cute, attentive, and did i mention cute? bread basket and dipping oil were both excellent, and our order came out very quickly. excellent food, great portion sizes at very reasonable prices. like i said, not a big fan of pasta but we ordered the ziti al forno and penne sardi. between 3 adults and a toddler, we were out the door an hour later with a good-sized doggie bag and a modest bill under $30. i'm definitely going back again and again. highly recommended for date nights, family events, whatever. kid-friendly too - i brought my two year old in and she had a blast.

service was terrible, food was horrible can get better and cheaper at a rosatis, dont waste your money waiter took forever to take order, waited almost over an hour for the food to come out, took 25 mins to bring another glass of wine. when we left asked to talk to manager and hostess didn't even care. never going back ever

Went there tonight with the family. Things started out ok, ordered an appetizer, three pasta dishes and a salad. 45 minutes later still waiting for our meal. Finally tracked down the waiter and he said "I'll check". Food arrived, some hot, some not. Got a free dessert out of it but not worth it. The manager said there's no excuse for that and he's right. Won't be back.

I was not very impressed with Biaggi's. I found the food just okay and the prices kind of high. On a good note the staff was very friendly upon my arrival. We did not have a reservation and we had 6 in our party. They were very accomodating. Reading the reviews however, I would not even wait 5 minutes for a table let alone a couple of hours. This place is not that good. I ordered the Grilled Shrimp Cobb salad. The menu read that it was hearts of romaine, grilled shrimp with sweet corn, pine nuts, bacon, hearts of palm and cherry tomatos. Yum sounds good right? What I got was romain lettuce that was not cut up (it is litterally the romaine heart cut in half), about 10 corn kernals, 4 pieces of hearts of palm, 20 pine nuts and I dare you to show me where the bacon was. The shrimp was cooked sort of cajun style, pretty spicey. But it was okay. I was just very disapointed for $14.99 to get basically a side salad that I had to prepare myself. Our waitress Rosie was very nice but we were there for 2.5 hours. After our meal was done and we decided not to get dessert. No drinks were ever refilled, the table was stripped of everything and we never heard from her again. Lastly it was so loud in there, that it was very difficult to hear across that table. There was a group next to us that was so loud that it was distracting. I was very disappointed.

Very nice place for special occasions. The food is top notch and martinis are very good. A little taken aback, though, when at our last dinner a waitress spilled an entire tray of drinks and no one apologized that my wife's purse and jacket were affected by the liquids. That took it back a notch for me.

It's another Italian restaurant chain. The food has always been good, but authentic italian.... not so sure. It's chain food, good and reliable as far as what you are getting when you order. The atmosphere is very nice and I think that is the reason I go back. I don't think the prices are bad for the portion size that you receive. I recommend the veal parmesan!

This is one of my go to restaurants for when I want to celebrate. They have a fabulous Gluten Free Menu and it's been updated to add more items. YEAH! We went there for NYE this year and it was awesome. The Beef Carpaccio was excellent as was my GF Pasta. They've changed the GF bread from a loaf type to one that is more like a thick pizza crust. SUPER YUMMY though. I'd give 5 stars but for the delay in getting our food in the beginning. Our server was diligent and kept our glasses full . Will be coming back again!

Biaggi's delivered two hot, delicious meals quickly and at a very reasonable price. We had two fish meals, the pepper crusted salmon was actually crusty when it arrived. The side dishes (rice in a cream sauce) was buttery goodness. It did not seem that having the meal delivered ruined it as it so often does. The meals came with a bread basket filled with sever different warm breads and enough butter for all of it. The delivery person appeared to be dressed as one would expect a waiter/waitress to be. Biaggi's was open late as well, we were ordering from a hotel room and we were able to order after the pool closed. Dessert was a treat as well, vanilla bread pudding. MMM The meals came in great packaging, suitable for storing a couple days and reheating in a microwave. Since we didn't dine in, I can't speak to the wait staff, parking or dining room. However, next time I'm in Deer park, I know where I'm having dinner.

Biaggi's makes the best chicken tetrazzini al forno!!! This is my favorite dish by far there. The dish has chicken, bacon, and shrimp in a creamy sauce..I usually over take out when I go there but, It is always more than I can eat. Staff is awesome, place is very relaxed.Always a great place to eat...(across from the Apple store so thats always a plus)

We go to Biaggi's for special occasions because of it's location which is midway between us and our kids, and because they serve great good consistently. Yesterday's meal was no exception. Robert, our server, was absolutely terrific. Very knowledgeable about the menu, wines, etc. He was attentive to our every need and was great to work with. My wife is gluten intolerant and Biaggi's makes the best gluten free bread for her. We had everything from appetizer to dessert and it was all great. Will continue to frequent Biaggi's whenever in the area. Great place for any occasion.

We were a group of six on a Saturday night. Had a 7:45 reservation and we were seated promptly. Love the round tables for a group. Good atmosphere and the tables are not on top of each other. Couple of different types of bread, oil & cheese for dipping, super. Appetizers were very good, stuffed mushrooms & bruschetta. All entrees were very good except one, the eggplant parmesan was just o.k., not very much flavor, per hubby. I had the homemade ravioli stuffed with 3 or 4 different kinds of cheese, light pesto cream sauce and some marinara. Great presentation on the plate and very tasty. Service was very good, refilled water, etc... One thing we got a kick out of on the menu was the fish they described as.......Saif fish from the northern Atlantic. Saif is a term that describes the fishing regulations for cod & haddock in the north Atlantic....so in other words this fish dish is really cod (must be cod, haddock is low grade). One in our party had it and she said it was good. Price point is good, most entrees are under $20, but they are ala cart. Would return.

We were here last night for a rehearsal dinner and I had high expectations. For sure, the service was wonderfully attentive. My ice water was never empty, my wine glass always full. The appetizers were hit or miss...caprese salad was great. The fried raviolis were not so hot. I filled up on bread dipped in olive oil and freshly grated parm. There was a shrimp alfredo dish with bacon...both bacon and shrimp were overcooked. Some sort of risotto...asparagus with saffron? The rice was a little undercooked and the entire dish lacked flavor. Chicken parmesan was tough though flavorful. Salmon again hit or miss...two types I believe...one with an herb topping, the other almost blackened and too peppery, though the fish was cooked to perfection-tender, melt in your mouth texture. My favorite was the salad...chicken, artichoke hearts, avocado, bacon...it was very good. Dessert was a berry sorbetto (very tasty and refreshing) and the apple crostada was delicious. I know this place was chosen due to the gluten-free menu. Several in our party have celiac disease or some other wheat intolerance disorder. All in all, the food was just ok, maybe due to the fact that this was a party of at least 100 and everything was served family style. Perhaps it'd be better for a party of 2 or 3, the food won't be sitting around as long. I'm sure the shrimp & chicken wouldn't be as tough as it was if made fresh.

I went a few times with a reservation and liked the food, but I knock them down to three stars after a rude hostess greeted my desire for a seat without a reservation with contempt. Two and a half hours to wait? It's not even Friday or Saturday night! Ok, I'll accept that, but she came of completely snippy with me, as if I was a mere maggot on the floor to expect to eat at this wonderful restaurant studded with Hollywood stars without a reservation. One word - Blow.

I like Biaggi's but there are a few things that make me mad and that happen every single time: 1. The restaurant is a meat locker even when it's 80 F outside and you're trying to wear a nice little dress for a change 2. The wait is unbearable over the weekend But the food is great and when we can bear these 2 things, we usually walk out pretty happy.

The food and service are outstanding! Buck was my server and he was so friendly and knowledgeable. I ask for him every time I visit! The management is also very nice- they often come to the table to see how things are going. All the servers are very educated about the wine and beer selection, and I recently attended a beer dinner there that was amazing! I hope they have another one soon! Everything about this place is first class!

W(y)elp, we will never be going to this restaurant again. Called in our reservation over a month in advance for a sizeable party for a high school graduation. Of course, since it is down the road from the ceremony site, you would expect a lot of families going there afterwards. We were going to do Biaggi's family-style dining. We show up, and are told that since WE did not pre-order family-style with our reservation, we cannot get that option. NOWHERE in the big menu packet that we picked up before reserving is that mentioned, NOR was it mentioned during the reservation phone call, NOR in their confirmation phone call that morning. What a let down. So we strike on and just order regular/ a la carte. We ask if there are some combo appetizer and salad platters. Our waitress, though very nice, does not know what can be combined on these, or the prices. We wait over 45 minutes for our appetizers. We are continually told 'that since there are so many tables and busy, the food is taking another five minutes.' Five minutes always turned out to be twenty on each course. It takes thirty minutes after picking up our appetizers' plates for the big salads to arrive. It takes thirty minutes after the salads are picked up for our entrees to arrive. (Another reviewer mentioned molasses, our experience was much slower than that.) If you get mad being seated before other tables, ordering before them, and watching them LEAVE before you have even eaten one thing, then do not go here. We watched over two cycles of patrons on some tables sit, eat, and leave. It was ridiculous. (A small pro: After asking if we were forgotten to our waitress, pointingly looking at our watches, and pointing out all the empty tables that had served many other parties and asking why was the service so slow yet again, I assume the manager/ass't manager FINALLY came over and did take some $$ off the bill. We all laughed at that point about damage control. Better late than NEVER.) Finally, the entrees arrive! Wow! For $15 up, do you think that the portions could be smaller? Chicken parmesan over alfredo spaghetti? Two thin hunks of chicken with a small dollop of pasta in between. What's pasta, $1/lb.? It tasted fine, but at this point, it seemed a little moot. For our money and enjoyment factor, we'd recommend Maggiano's in Schaumburg over this farce of an Italian restaurant. Maggiano's portions are bigger (or double) per price, their service and timeliness has always been superb, and you can order family style after you get seated. Read that again, you can order family style when seated, which actually makes it easier for serving or cooking for a restaurant. This whole experience was like going to the dentist and getting teeth pulled. Abysmal. If there were SO MANY PARTIES reserved, then plan MORE HELP! What a fiasco. Thumbs down, Biaggi's in Deer Park, Illinois. Double thumbs down.

I've been to this Biaggi's quite a few times now. And each time I am seriously impressed. I must admit, my expectations are never high because I never really expect much from a chain restaurant. But this place is pretty on-point. The service is always spectacular. The food is great and the prices are quite modest. Their lunch is awesome!

The only reason why I am not giving it 5 stars is because when I called there the other night to ask a SIMPLE question the hostess was clueless and put me on hold for 5 minutes when she went to look for someone to answer my question. It was just asking if they served a certain appetizer. i think all staff should be familiar with a menu where they work maybe not every minor detail but at least know if they serve a popular app. I have eaten there once before and it deserved an A+ rating! My boyfriend and I had a great time, great service, and great food. I normally don't go out to Italian places because my family had been in the business in years and I am pretty picky because of that. I tend to only like our recipes. I was very happy with the food (I had the ravioli) I can't remember what my boyfriend had but he was very happy too!! We had leftovers for lunch the next day and still tasted good reheated! I highly recommend this place! Just make sure to make reservations they are so good they are always busy!

I love Biaggi's. I first went to one in the Toledo area and fell in love with their wedge salad. I do not like blue cheese (it's the only cheese I won't eat - I'll give it a try every few weeks or months to see if my palate has changed and every time I come to the same conclusion that it's just not for me). Biaggi's wedge salad though...divine. It's the ONLY thing I remember about the meal each time I've been. I was so happy when I saw there was one near where I now live. My husband, who lives wedge salads, said it was the best he's ever had. The blue cheese isn't overpowering, but just enough for me. Our pasta was not memorable, but it was good. I had spaghetti and meatballs and my husband had some linguine. The nice thing is that you can order half portions, which are just enough to satisfy without making you feel full. All in all, it's good Italian dining. I'd put it a bit above Maggiano's, but mainly because of that wedge salad. Service was good - we sat at the bar because it was very crowded. Our food arrived promptly and I couldn't have asked for just the right amount of attention from the bartender. She didn't harass us repeatedly, but made sure we were well taken care of throughout our experience there. We'll be bringing people here if Italian is one of the choices. I'll be coming back for that wedge salad.

Great service! My favorite is now their eggplant parmigiana. I requested no cheese or pasta, got some greens instead. They were very accommodating and nice. My husband had the chicken Pietro which he enjoyed.

place is solid. i had the ziti somethign that had chicken and shrimp and it was legit. bread would be amazing if it was warm but still good had the italian donuts but wasn't life changing. obviously its good when you mix carbs with sugar. ORDER: waitstaff JEANS: ok by far

Decent pasta, good bread and consistent service. I've been here many times as kind of our go-to Italian place. A step above Mariano's the atmosphere is nice and family friendly. It is noisy which is not meant as a bad thing. Nothing on the menu stands out as a favorite but I've tried most everything and it's all been from average to good. The martini olives are awful however.

Let's start out with the positives. The waitress was very nice and attentive. My spinach salad was pretty good. The vinaigrette needed a good pinch of salt as it was under seasoned. My husband's house salad looked fresh and he liked it. I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan. He ordered the Bolognese. The pasta that came with the Eggplant was okay. The Eggplant was very thick and a little soggy. My husband barely ate his Bolognese. They should warn customers that is not a typical Bolognese and instead is noodles flavored and coated with sausage. We barely ate touched it. For a town with so much Italian influence, this place was a bit disappointing. It was a $50 meal for two and we left hungry. Go to Maggianos instead. At least they're consistent there.

WOW! Having never heard of, Biaggi's, we can honestly say it is AWESOME! Here is what we ordered: Pepperoni pizza Bruschetta Fried Ravioli Tiramisu Goose Island Orange Cream Soda They also gave us a bag full of complimentary bread of different sorts. The pizza had a wonderful thin crust and the perfect amount of sauce. It was cheesy and the pepperoni was very good. The ravioli was OMG, so good! The cream sauce for dipping was unbelievable! The bruschetta was good and the mozza balls were soaked in balsamic, mmmmm! The tiramisu was great! Creamy and full of flavor! The soda, came as a recommendation by the guy on the phone and it was a great on at that! Never has a soda been so good! :) The bread in the bag was really good too, our favorite being the onion bread. Overall, we would highly recommend this place to anyone and will go back if we are in the area again! It was a great meal in a nice hotel room and good end to our day of travel! Thank you, Biaggi's!

Reasonable prices, good service. Took off one star because I didn't really like my scallop risotto. The scallops were prepared really well, about medium rare. However, the risotto was a little weird with the cranberries in it. The soup, salad, and my friends pasta dish were all pretty tasty. Wouldn't hesitate to come back next time I'm in town.

I like this place a lot. It's like a better version of olive garden. It's usually pretty packed but I've almost never had to wait for a table, which is great. Food is always tasty - I recommend the salmon salad, pork chops and dijon crusted salmon. they also have an extensive healthy portion menu - under 600 calories - which is really good just with smaller portions.

Tried it again for lunch, should you wait 30 minutes for lunch? How long does a half a sandwich and a bowl of soup take to prepare? Sorry still no vote for me!!!

Had a beet salad that looked like someone ate some of it already. It did not have any nuts or cranberries on it. The appearance looked like it was thrown on the plate. The chicken panini was small, extremely dried out and tasteless. The best part of the lunch was the ice tea. Also I was never asked if I would like another salad since it was unlimited. My last visit at this place.

Well, what's there to say! Other then the Chicken Marsela I had was exquisite and. Can't compare it. With other Italian restaurants that have reviewed. The service was quick, I had called in my reservation and when we came in out wait time was only 10 min. Our waitress was excellent, always checking how we where.

I have only been to one other Biaggi's in my life, and that was strictly for dessert. So this time, I was delighted to be able to try the food! My friend and I got there on a Tuesday night around 8. The restaurant was about 1/3 full, and we were seated right away. We had a couple minutes to peruse the menu before our server showed up, and I decided that I wanted the entire right side of the menu. :) After some debating, I decided on the Farfalle Alfredo (no peas) and my friend got the Lobster Alfredo. We decided against the stuffed mushrooms because we wanted to get something delicious for dessert, so we wanted to make sure we saved some room! Our food came out quickly (luckily we had some crusty, amazing bread to tide us over) and it was AMAZING! I really loved my dish! It had a great amount of sauce to noodle to chicken to BACON ratio. And my friend's alfredo was good as well. For dessert, we got the Nutella Skillet Cookie. YES, this kind of amazingness exists, and I totally recommend it! We devoured that thing in no time flat! It was a little small, so I would question the $7 next time, but it was really quite yummy! The only thing that keeps my experience from being 5 stars was the service. It was quick, don't get me wrong, but our server was SO sullen/crabby. He acted like we were a huge inconvenience to serve. Not sure who pissed in his Wheaties, but he was not friendly in the least. I got tense every time he came to the table. But go for the food!! YUM!

A coworker and I have gone to the bar area here a few times for drinks on a Friday after work. The service here is truly some of the WORST service I have EVER received!! We usually head over around 3:00, so the place is pretty dead. On each visit we have received lack luster greetings from our hostess and server (once the hostess was even sitting at the bar on her phone). On our first visit I waited so long after I finished my first drink for our server to come back that I ended up going to the bar to order my own drink. We decided to see if Biaggis could redeem itself and decided to try again (silly us). So we went back for what would be our LAST visit, ON MY BIRTHDAY. We ordered dronks, wine and a martini and some food. We got our drinks, ate, and then we waited (while watching our server text and sip pop) for 35 minutes for our server to return so we could order a second round of drinks. I have never encountered a friendly server here, which is really disappointing. I want to like this place because I love the fried ravioli and my coworker loves the best salad but I cannot get part the abysmal service. Sorry Biaggis.

The place is well designed and descent. The food is a typically of a corporate taste like what you have in Olive Garden. I was looking for that authentic Italian taste but did not get it. The bread was good but waiting for the food we ordered seems forever to come. I hope they change the menu constantly to try other stuff. I will repeat but maybe for some time.

Went here for my moms bday, at her request. Food was ok but service was great. You can tell it was a tough night for their staff and unfortunately, we were the ones that suffered. Won't come back here only cause it's such an awkward drive from our home but would probably recommend for someone more on non peak hours.

I always assumed Biaggi's was your standard "Italian" restaurant that had overpriced menu items and mediocre food, primarily because it was a chain. Since one of my best friends was having her baby shower there, I had the opportunity to feast on a fantastic Italian lunch - and be proven wrong. From a guest's perspective, Biaggi's did an amazing job ensuring that everything was perfect for the shower. The room was set up perfectly, the staff was more than accommodating, and the food was superb. Lunch consisted of a Caesar salad (to date, is the only one I've ever liked), some meaty Rigatoni Alla Bolognese, and Chicken Marsala with some creamy effin' mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. It was all superb. Overall - My first experience certainly won't be my last. I look forward to the next time where I can pick and choose off the standard dinner menu.

Went to Biaggis today for lunch and was very disappointed. The best part of the meal was the bread. We ordered bacon wrapped dates for an appetizer. They were ok but the different pieces of bacon were unevenly cooked -meaning some were slightly underdone. I decided to try the margharita pizza. As Biaggi's is supposed to be Italian I expected tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and basil. Nope. This was a processed cheese pizza with a couple bits of basil and not much tomato flavor in the sauce. Wow was I disappointed. I don't mind a good cheese pizza but this one was really bland and the crust was disappointing also. When the waiter came by he asked if the food was delicious and I had to tell him no as the pizza was not what I thought I had ordered. He told me that he agreed that it was not a margharita pizza and had previously discussed with management but management thinks it is one because the pizza is red, white and green. He even had the manager come over and we discussed the issue. They offered to bring me something else but because my boyfriend's spaghetti and meatballs were kind of flavorless also I decided I didn't want another disappointment. The waiter was good so I will give it more than one star but as there are many other really good Italian choices nearby like Gianni's and Enzo and Lucia I don't think I would ever go back.

This place has amazing food. I have been a handful of times, and I have never tasted anything that wasn't great. I went Sunday night for dinner with the in-laws. Our waitress was a little bit slower than what we are used to, but not terrible. I ordered the Cappellini di Mare (pasta with calimari, scallops, mussels and shrimp in a spicy tomato sauce). The sauce was the perfect amount of spicy. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the scallops were tender and buttery. I also tried some of the pork chop which was also great. They recently changed up their menu, but don't worry just pick something out and you are guaranteed to enjoy it.

A weak imitation of Maggiano's. Bleached, enriched flour pasta is NOT Italian, even if it is made on site w/squid ink (they do this, which is a point in their favor). Gluten free selections do exist here, but need work. To be fair, real Italian pasta is hard to find in an American restaurant, & the American palate does not seem to notice. However, once you have had real Italian pasta, you can never go back. Good pasta is like good bread, it is delicious with nothing but some olive oil & It cannot compare to the flavorless, nutritionally void muck which is called "pasta" here in the states. Real Italian pasta is Durum Semolina which has not been bleached,or enriched. The staff & service are great here, atmosphere is imitated, (Starbuck's meets Maggiano's) but pleasant. Food is OK.

If I'm in the mood to treat myself and eat decadent food, I love coming to Biaggi's. I usually order their scallop dish which comes with chunks of crab, creamy risotto, and asparagus drizzled in a yummy sauce. The scallops are always done perfectly, it's very tender and pairs perfectly with the risotto and sauce. My husband tried their lasagna and chicken parmesan and he said it was really good. Their complimentary bread is very good too. We have only sat at the bar every time we go because it gets that busy and we end up just taking the first seat that is available, which is usually the bar. It might be hard to get a seat but it's easy to see why.

I got the taste of Tuscany everything was great but the lasagna was average, weak beer selection, and also had two waiters asking the same thing after eachother! But the chicken parm was the top 5 I've ever had.

One of my favorite Italian resturaunts. The calimari is awesome and the dipping sauce is the best. I happen to love the veal. The portions are huge and I always have to take it hime which I don't get to enjoy because my son gets it before me.

Was terribly disappointed on all levels. Went there for a business lunch and our group was only 6 people. The service was awful! We were very clear about our time schedule, and they made no effort to consider that. The food was so average. I had to send my ahi tuna salad back, it was had so much pepper on it. To add insult to injury the waitress gave us our check before the food arrived.

I love biaggi's and have been to other locations. I went to this place with high expectations but it was extremely disappointing. We had dinner at bar along with a bottle of wine. The service was horrible but food was good, not as good as what biaggi's typically serve. I hope they don't dilute the brand of biaggi's and work on the service.

I was working in Lake Zurich for a week and had a business lunch here in a group of 9. In summary, it is a great restaurant, with a lunch time limit of 75 minutes, with astonishingly affordable prices given the quality and portion of the food. I guess that's one of the perks of being in the burbs. The most memorable part of my experience here though came from the service, in paticular, a bespectacled Joe Manganiello look-like waiter. His highly animated and passionate demeanors were the best I have seen: "Alright I am gonna set the sugar between you two ladies." "I am gonna sneak in on your left." After reciting perfectly the ingredients and the way the specials dishes were cooked -"alright i am gonna set this menu here so that you all can fight for it." The best one-liners came when we were getting the bill: "let me go find one of those check presenters." Came back empty handed - "sorry the check presenter god is not in my favors today." Anyways, aside from the extra cordial and attentive service, the food was definitely better than your usual lunch options, especially for someone that usually works in the loop. I got a half pasta and half salad combo for...wait for it...$9.99! And you can have unlimited refills of salads. AND, the pasta was actually good! It was a lobster salad with black linguini which had good texture and surprisingly abundant lobster meat. The salad was very good too, with their house vinaigrette being one of the best I've had. Truth is, before my entree, I was already 1/2 full from eating their delish baguette. Their menu is pretty big with pretty standard ristorante italiano options. On the back of their menu, they have this "newer" lighter side menu. I couldn't help but wonder - if those salads are around 500 calories, what does that make my lunch - a creamy lobster sauce dressed pasta, a salad, and maybe 5 pieces of baguette. I knew better than diving into that endless hole of guiltiness, and instead stuffed the thought down my throat with none other than my 6th piece of baguette.

I was a little disappointed in my recent visit to Biaggi's! I went with a couple girlfriends for an early dinner (6pm). They were a little busy, so we waited 20 minutes for a table, so we had a seat at a "high top" table at the bar. One of the bar waiters was a little bit rude and sassy asking if we were going to order drinks. We ordered a couple drinks and of course when we did, our buzzer went off! We asked the hostess if we could have our drinks brought to our table, and that wasn't an issue. Well, there was an attitude brought with our drinks to our table by our bar waiter! When we got to our table, our waitress went from attentive and friendly to slow as molasses. We waited honestly almost 30 minutes for her to take our order. She kept coming by our table but would disappear before we could catch her! I ordered the butternut squash pasta which was DELICIOUS! My friends ordered the chicken salad with no bacon...which bacon was on the salad! I felt they are a little pricey for their portions...my ravioli was $9.50 for about 6 raviolis. The bread is DELICIOUS, I would honestly be happy with just the bread! :) Overall I was disappointed with our visit, food was solid, but the service was horrible! But I would check it out anyways...could have just been a bad night! :)

This immensely popular location of a small chain conveys a more sophisticated atmosphere than the usual chain "Italian Place" - far above Olive Garden or Macaroni Grille. On a summer weekday, some of the customers defiled that image, though. The pasta dishes are somewhat more sophisticated than you would expect from a chain - especially the Linguine with Lobster and the Cappelini de Mare (Both about $17 -18), the items we had on our latest visit. Service was generally good, as they have food runners and the staff is efficient. Only the use of blinking, buzzing, and even talking "pagers" takes away a bit from the elegance, but it does keep things in order and allow, I suppose, for slipping in "special people" without undue notice.

With an extensive gluten free menu and staff educated on reducing cross contamination, Biaggi's never seems to disappoint. It is also one of the few places that offers gluten free bread so you don't have to sit there and watch everyone else eat while you sit and try to figure out how to not look awkward. My favorite items are the Pasta Marinara, Margherita Pizza, and Pasta Di Mar. You can see the whole menu here: biaggis.com/pdf/menu_glu… They have a pretty decent wine selection as well. The Luigi Bosca Malbec is my usually pick. I hope they expand to California!

I love coming here on Sundays for some yumminess! Their food is delicious and filling. I am always trying something new and always find myself very happy with whatever I get. The hosts are always welcoming and attend to us quickly. Everything seems to be clean and in order. The servers are super friendly and also have great tastes. I love asking them what they like and what they would recommend because let's face it, they know best. So there's no need to go into details because everything is great here and you really can't go wrong with anything! I've had their pizza, pastas, sounds, salads and sandwiches and they are so flavorful. You will have to spend a bit more than your typical italian places but it's totally worth it. For those of you thinking of having a gathering, this is the place to do it. They have a back room where it can be closed and have your mini private party. If I were business owner or event planner wanting to take out my employees I would take them here.

Just went here for my first time. I'll keep it short. Party of seven. Waitress served me a Blue Moon when I ordered something else. No problem...I don't mind Blue Moon so continue.... My step father ordered a Beam on the rocks. We were both embarrassed when it was delivered as it was a huge glass of ice with a slight hazel hue to it. Ordered the Calamari. Waitress came back to tell us the Bruschetta was on it's way. DInner.... Tilapia...was good..not great though. Sea Scallops...average. Chicken Picatta....very good. Kids Pizza for my 7 year old daughter....it was a 10" pizza. Errr..... The place was very busy and very loud. While walking out there was nothing I had just experienced that would make me desire to return.

Hands down a great Italian establishment! Last night was date night with the man, and we were both craving pasta. Of course, I used the Yelp app on my handy dandy phone to find us a nearby Italian restaurant--BAM, up popped Biaggi's! We've never been and with the high recommendations (and the grumbling in our bellies) we knew this was the place to be! Read on for my restaurant breakdown review! First impressions: We waited approx. 10 mins for a table in the dining area rather than bar. I think we caught the tail end of the evening rush by coming in around 7:30pm. The restaurant is beautiful with a warm, comfortable decor. Wait Service: Tony was our waiter and he was fantastic! Very personable, great sense of humor, attentive, and pretty knowledgable about the menu. I think it's safe to say Tony made our first evening at Biaggi's memorable and enjoyable. Appetizers: Fresh italian bread and ciabatta are served right away, which you can accompany both with a tasty olive oil and freshly grated parmesan cheese. Maybe we were just really hungry, but the bread was very satisfying. We decided to save room for our entrees and dessert, so we stopped with bread for the appetizer. However, many plates of appetizers were dropped off at tables all around us and they all looked pretty large for appetizers. Main Course: I ordered the Rigatoni alla Toscana while the man ordered Capellini de Mare. My entree was awesome!! The marinara sauce was delicious and unlike any other sauce I've had at a restaurant. My boyfriend really enjoyed his entree as well, in fact, he ate the whole dish! (Primarily because seafood dishes aren't best reheated.) The prices are modest considering the high standard of food this restaurant holds. Dessert: We opted to share the Tiramisu because.... Tiramisu is amazing! And boy were we glad to have ordered that; it was so fresh and delicious!! Overall Review: A great restaurant which holds true to their newly updated fresh, organic, gluten-free menu. They go above and beyond any expectations one may have; Biaggi's truly is a great restaurant with excellent service, excellent food and great prices!!

I don't think I've ever had a meal here that was bad! If you can stop yourself from eating the delicious foccacia bread and olive oil to get to your meal... My favorite is the chopped salad, but he butternut squash ravioli, minestrone soup, and lasagna fritta are all fantastic. The pork chops are stellar too, so tender and seasoned well. I can't remember all the other things I've tried, but they have all been good, I've never been disappointed. You can tell they put time and care into their food, it's not mass produced or cheap. All the food is definitely cooked to order, you never feel like your food is sitting back behind a heat lamp somewhere, or has been stale. Actually, with the crowds this place draws, I don't think they'd have time for anything to get old! (Make a reservation for the evening! We've gone in on weeknights and waited 30 minutes, and on the weekend it's not even worth trying sometimes without calling ahead, but the food is SO worth it!) For dessert, while I'm typically a chocoholic, nothing beats the lemon cake, in my opinion. I have actually gone to Biaggi's and gotten the lemon cake to go, it's that good. They have a great bar, lots of delicious wines and bellinis. They also have nice looking group rooms, never gotten to go to a party there, but I imagine it would be wonderful. Biaggi's is one of our favorite dinner spots, absolutely delicious food, nice atmosphere, and always a pleasant waitstaff too!

I love going to Biaggi's- - love the food & the atmosphere. Some servers are better than others. I love their Caesar salad & their "Garlic Shrimp Oreganata." I've had their filet & fish entrees also, and I was very impressed. Helpful to make reservations ahead of time.

dinner portions were a joke...I can't imagine the lunch size portion. we found out when we were seated, that there was no lunch menu on Sundays, which is when we had the misfortune of going. that's just lame...lunch is lunch, no matter what day they want to try and eliminate the lunch menu....all in all, we all left hungry, disappointed, and feeling ripped off. none of us will be back.

Went out to dinner tonight with friends we haven't seen in a long time and Biaggi's is our go to restaurant with this couple. We had a reservation for 6:45pm and upon arriving were told they were running behind schedule due to a Sadie Hawkins turnaround event at one of the local high schools! (Funny, the last time we got together with this couple, same thing happened. School event and the restaurant was up for grabs!!!). Anyway, they told us it would be approximately 20 minutes before we would be seated! Turned out to be 40! We were seated at a booth, next to a table of many teens! (They were very well behaved!). It took our server about ten minutes to finally get to our table, but it was worth the wait! Tony, our waiter couldn't have been nicer or more attentive!! He apologized for the delay and proceeded to take our drink orders and bring a great basket of bread to the table! He also made up our plates of olive oil/cheese/pepper for the bread! Upon arriving back at the table with drinks, he went over the menu specials; although it was so loud we could hardly hear him!! Regardless, since we've been here numerous times we knew what we wanted and ordered right away! I ordered a bowl of the Lobster chowder soup which was served almost immediately, but the entrees took quite a while to be served! As always, the food lived up to its reputation!! I had the Garlic Shrimp Oreganata, and it was scrumptious! My husband had Shrimp & Crab Cannelloni which we've had before and still as good as ever!! Our friends had SALMON & SHRIMP MILANESE and FILET MIGNON SALAD and both said it was very good! Our server, Tony came back many times throughout the meal to check if we needed anything, to refill our drinks, etc. prior reviews have stated the service here is not up to par but we did not find that to be the case with our server! One of the BEST dining experiences I've had in a long time!!! I'd give Tony five stars, but due to the wait, overall only four stars!!! In the future will ask to be put in Tony's section if he's working when we return!!!

Went last night for their $10 pasta specials. We had the calamari appetizer and it was great. Nice and crispy and flavorful. Pastas are great too especially with the special. My husband got the capellini di mare which was an awesome deal. He loved it. I had the ziti al forno which was okay. It had scallions in it which was not listed on the menu and I'm not a fan of scallions so that left a bad taste in my mouth.

Yet another review that really deserves 3.5 stars. I'm giving the benefit of the doubt on this one. I was there around 7:30PM on a Tuesday evening and ate at the bar, so I had no issues with waiting as other reviewers mention. While I live nearby, this was my first visit to ANY Biaggi's. Living in the Chicago area, I typically avoid the chain Italian restaurants because there are so many good independent options here. As for my experience: Food - The soup special for the evening was wild mushroom.... "like buttah". It was very good. For my entree, I ordered the lasagna; mixed reviews on that. What I liked about it was the flavor of the meat sauce and the chunks of meat in it were really robust and flavorful. But the downside was that the sauce had "cool" spots in it; needed to have been heated more. And the noodles were nowhere close to al dente - they were pretty nondescript and mushed into the cheese and sauce. I had an apple tort for dessert - that was pretty good. Service: It took just a little longer to be acknowledged than what I would have liked, but once I was, the staff was very personable. I was given bread and beverages promptly; items from the kitchen were just a little slow, but not intolerable by any means. Two bartenders were working and both served me as if they were one server - totally seamless in that respect. And both were great at making conversation and checking on me - and other customers at the bar and at booths and tables in the bar area. They are the reason for the "benefit of the doubt" rating of four stars I'll likely return - overall a good experience.

On their 1/2 pasta, 1/2 salad (unlimited) special!! I went for lunch today and they have a 1/2 pasta, 1/2 salad .. Excuse me! ... UNLIMITED salad deal for $8.99. Deal? Or no deal? .... Deal, please! Major deal!! So, you're wondering why this is a deal? Well, a typical "cheap" restaurant would SAY unlimited salad with one, maybe two, choices. But Biaggi's is the real deal. For their salads, toucan choose between wedge salad (yum)!, house salad, Caesar salad, spinach salad, and Messina salad. Hopefully I'm not forgetting one! This is a great deal! Especially if you're watching the calories or your weight. 1/2 as much pasta as you would normally eat with just as much flavor and tastiness as in a whole. Sign me up! Farfalle Alfredo - I gave into my comfort. I wanted to be wild and try a penne sardi, but wanted to see what the Alfredo is like since it's standard and good grounds for comparison. The Alfredo was thick (not too thick!) and creamy all at the same time. Not salty, just right. Their chicken portions were decent - they didn't go cheap and give me 1 tiny slice of chicken just because I got a 1/2 order - thank you! Their pasta was cooked just right - not overly cooked and soft, and not undercooked such that it was chewy. Good job on the Farfalle Alfredo, Biaggi's. Wedge Salad - A chunk of iceberg lettuce with bleu cheese dressing, bacon (real bacon!! Not bacon bits) pieces, tomatoes, ... It was nice.. Tasted excellent. Free appetizer Breads - they serve you bread and prepare and olive oil based dip for you with Parmesan cheese. Delicious! The bread is a couple pieces of French style an a couple homemade?!? With their special seasonings. Both were good. I'm a fan. I would come back for their lunch special. You should, too.

Good place but they don't take reservations unless you have a group. Seafood pasta is good but too spicy. They haven't changed the menu in years.

My prior review still stands, but I'm also updating for the service. We've had a waiter named Tony several times, and HE IS AWESOME! He's very friendly, attentive, and will nearly bend over backwards to make sure everything is just right and exceeds expectations. I don't think I've ever had bad service at Biaggi's, but kudos to Tony for making the extra effort.

GLUTEN FREE ITALIAN FOOD!!! Oh my gosh. This place has never disappointed me. If you're gluten intolerant, just ask for the gluten-free menu and for the gluten-free bread. Everything is delicious. I have nothing else to say.

I hadn't been to this place for a long time, since I stopped working in this area a few years ago. I recently went back there. Gotta review it!! My daughter was actually with me this time, and I gotta say, the waiter really really took care of us. He brought her extra crayons when she broke her first set. He brought her out a little place of carrots and orange slices. She loved it and finished the whole plate and so he brought her MORE. That was a great gesture. That was the extra mile. Now for the normal stuff. I had some Eggplant Parmesan, which was great. Crispy on the outside and plenty of marinara. It also comes with a little side of spaghetti. Very good dish and big portion size. I was starving, so I finished it all off. Once before, I've ordered this baked pasta dish, which has this crumb-like crust on top. Wow.. that was awesome as well. Can't remember the name of it. The restaurant is a little bit higher priced than your average Italian place, but with the quality of service they had this time, I didn't mind paying a bit of a premium at all.

If you're gluten free, Biaggi's is a must. Their gluten free pasta is the best I've had in the area, and I'm seriously obsessed, in particular, with the alfredo one minus the prosciutto. They do carry-out too, so when I'm frustrated with nothing else gluten free to eat I can call Biaggi's and take pasta home to watch with a feel-good movie :) They even have gluten free bread! And while, granted, it's not like normal bread by any means, it's warm and they add seasonings to it so when dipped in olive oil it tastes pretty darn good. Biaggi's makes me feel normal, and not like some gluten free freak, so with its plethora of options I would not hesitate recommending this place to anyone and everyone- most specifically those who are gluten free.

This is our favorite Italian place. Consistently good service, great food and reasonable prices. Nicely appointed dining areas with a fireplace and a private room for small parties. They were very nice and worked with us when we hosted a dinner in the private room for friends who were moving. Special thanks to the manager and wait staff for a wonderful evening!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
